B-2-V Challenge Cup Relay Volunteer Info

The Challenge Cup Relay is the largest and most unique law enforcement race in the world. It is a 120-mile, 20 stage, foot race beginning at Baker, California and finishing at Las Vegas, Nevada. The race is open to all law enforcement agencies.

The Challenge Cup Relay began in 1985 with 19 teams as a race for Police Officers to improve their physical fitness. Pulling together twenty runners per team, along with the necessary support personnel, is only the first step along the challenging path. In 2008 the Twenty-forth Annual Challenge Cup Relay accommodated 242 teams. Thousands of runners, hundreds of support personnel, countless volunteers, tens of thousands of dollars, and innumerable work hours culminated in the finest race possible. This event is the "Super Bowl," of Law Enforcement and the Champions are the best the police world has to offer.
